For over eight years, BuyIndies.com was a resource for filmmakers and distributors to reach a worldwide audience of buyers.  Launched in January 2000, the site reached over 30,000 buyers and listed titles from over 1,300 niche distributors and individual filmmakers.  However, industries change and it was clear in 2008 that it was no longer sustainable to sell VHS and DVDs.  Hence, BuyIndies.com is no longer operating.
